Letter from Chief Denboske Message from the Chief "I want to welcome you to our Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District website which acts as a resource to our Tri-Lakes residents. I am honored to represent the District as Chief of the department. We are a full spectrum department with talented, trained professionals pledged to protect life and property for the community." About Chief Denboske Chief Robert Denboske began his fire career as a junior fire marshal with Monument Fire Department at age 13. By age 18, he became a volunteer firefighter, but then joined the Navy in 1982. Upon return from the Navy, Robert was sworn in as Lieutenant of the Tri-Lakes Fire Protection District and was promoted to Fire Chief in 2002. Chief Denboske creates the vision and oversees operations for the department. Chief Denboske holds a Bachelors of Science in Fire Service Administration from Arizona State University. His devotion to the department is invaluable. Chief is very proud of his crews and wants to thank the department for their dedication and for providing an excellent service to the community.
