Cadet History

The cadet post formed at the same time that the fire protection district was created.  Cadets used to be part of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Explorers. Approximately two years ago the Cadets voted to no longer be associated with BSA. Several of our current personnel were BoyScouts/Explorers/Cadets.

What do Cadets Do?

 

-Help with daily vehicle checks
-Run Calls
-Help shift perform daily operations
 

Cadet Responsibilities
-Work with Firefighters
-Run Calls- These include: Traffic Accidents, Medicals, and Fires
-Organize community events
